Wholesale customers are Cin7s bread and butter, and it does an amazing job of solving the many complications of large inventory-based businesses, from automated 3PL connections to EDI with large retail customers, unlimited locations, B2B interface, Landed costs, Batch/Serial tracking, FIFO, Size Colour Matrix, bin locations, inward consignment and much more.
On top of all the above, Cin7 does cater for manufacturing, but more contract manufacturing than a detailed manufacturing process (if that is what you are interested in, we also implement and can demonstrate detailed manufacturing systems that might be more of what you’re looking for). Cin7 is quite capable of handling a multi-stage manufacturing process but has a few limitations. One is very large volumes of 500 production lines per manufacturing batch, and another is a very detailed internal manufacturing process, that requires exact timings (costings) as you progress through your manufacturing process.

This is actually where Cin7 shines, where it can do a lot of everything, and do it well, it is where it comes into its own, bordering on a true ERP style solution. Where it can cater to those organizations that have multiple wholesale branches, a retail shop, an online shop, and even some manufacturing. This is where often other systems force you to compromise on different areas (so you end up with multiple solutions) instead, with Cin7 you can do it all in the one place.
